My last name has not always been my last name. My great grandfather doesn't exist until 1920 in VA. He was from NJ and moved there around that time. But I am unable to find records of him. My grandfather said all his brothers and sisters were born in va, and his dad changed his last name before they were born. He doesn't remember his grandfathers name, just what he called him. He also told me that his aunt betsy was married to frank capone, al Capone's brother. I believed that this is the reason for the name change. I have searched for frank to find my great great aunts maiden name but have not found anything. Im hitting a brick wall no matter what i try. Ive tried ancestry.com, google and rootsweb.com but have had no luck. I really wanna figure this out please help if you know of any free search engine i could use that works well or what i could do to figure this out. Thank you in Advance! Which makes it harder. I found an interesting obit. that i think is my great great grandmother but I am unsure. Im gonna keep tryin but i think i need some real help.
